Chase Freedom Flex

Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is a travel rewards credit card with an amazing bonus. If you spend $4,000 within the first 90 days, you’ll earn a bonus of 60,000 points, equal to $750 worth of travel if you book through Chase Ultimate Rewards. You’ll also earn points for all of your purchases.

This card does have a $95 annual fee, so you’ll want to be sure that your spending habits will allow you to earn enough cash rewards to offset the annual fee.

Websites like Amazon’s Mechanical Turk (MTurk), Clickworker, and 25Clicks allow you to create a free account. Then you earn money by completing various small tasks like taking simple surveys, categorizing data, searching for information, and much more.

These tasks will take just a few minutes (or less) of your time, and you’ll be paid per task. You can also do it whenever it fits into your own schedule.

Sites like Swagbucks, InboxDollars, and MyPoints also offer microtask opportunities. You can earn by searching, browsing the internet, printing coupons, installing apps, playing games, watching movies, and taking surveys.

This opportunity comes with pros and cons. Let’s start with the cons first (actually, it’s just one thing). The hourly rate that you’ll earn from microtasking is likely to be pretty low. It’s certainly not the most lucrative side hustle.

But on the positive side, anyone can do it. There are no real requirements, and all you have to do is create an account and start working.

It’s also extremely flexible, so you can do the work whenever and wherever you want. You can also start making money immediately, which can be a big factor.

There are several food delivery apps, but DoorDash is our favorite for drivers because they operate in more than 7,000 different cities. As a result, there are probably options for delivering food near you. Also, DoorDash allows drivers to use any vehicle, so if you have an older car, you’re not out of luck.

Instacart is a grocery delivery service that offers two ways to make money. You could work as a grocery shopper only (no deliveries required), or you can do the shopping and also make deliveries. Just like DoorDash, Instacart is extremely popular and available in most locations.

By working as a delivery driver, you can make a decent hourly rate. It’s an ideal side hustle because you can work as much or as little as you want whenever it fits your schedule.

9. Drive for Uber or Lyft

Working as a rideshare driver is another popular side hustle and one of the best ways to make money fast whenever you need it. Both Uber and Lyft are available almost everywhere in the U.S.

The downside to working as a rideshare driver instead of a delivery driver is that you’ll have strangers in your car with you. If you enjoy talking to new people, that might not be a bad thing, but many people would prefer not to give rides to strangers.

If you’re interested in working as a rideshare driver, you can earn more money by working peak hours when demand is the highest. You can work whenever you want, as much or as little as you want.

10. Donate Plasma to Make $100 Fast

When you need money quickly, donating plasma is one of the best options. If you’ve donated blood to the American Red Cross or another non-profit organization in the past, there are a few things you should be aware of before donating plasma.

First, your plasma donation will be made to a for-profit business, which is why you can get paid. Also, the process is a bit longer than donating blood. It usually takes about an hour, and sometimes there can be an additional wait or processing time.

They may find something, or they may not. It’s worth trying because it only takes a few minutes of your time.

Last year, MissingMoney.com helped me get over $150 from an old PayPal account I’d forgotten about. It was linked to an old address, so PayPal had no way of tracking me down. Within a few days, I had the check in my hand.

If you’ve moved a lot or moved out of state, you’re more likely to find unclaimed money owed to you. But regardless, it’s worth the five minutes you’ll spend to try it.

15. Test Websites

Another great option to make money online is to get paid to test websites. Many companies are willing to pay for user feedback that allows them to improve the user experience on their websites.

Websites like User Testing, Userfeel, and WhatUsersDo allow you to find opportunities for making money.

At these sites and others like them (see a bigger list here), you can create a profile and apply to become a tester. You don’t need special skills or experience… they want typical people.

Most of the sites will ask you to record your screen (using their technology) and create a brief video of your experience and share your feedback on some specific aspects of the website.
